Mechanical Engineer | Post Graduate in Tool Design & CAD/CAM | 15+ Years of Engineering & Manufacturing Experience

With over 15 years of experience since 2011, Abhishek Bhoot brings extensive engineering and manufacturing expertise across tool design, die-casting dies, CAD/CAM, additive manufacturing, product development, plant commissioning, production management and mechanical maintenance.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and completed his Post Graduation in Tool Design & CAD/CAM from IDEMI (MSME Tool Room), Mumbai, with specialized training in plastic injection moulds, die-casting dies, press tools, CAD, CAM, process planning, metrology and material specifications.

His professional experience includes working with the Rapid Manufacturing Lab at IIT Bombay, where his work involved Design for Additive Manufacturing, 3D printing, conformal cooling channel design and optimisation, topology optimisation, reverse-engineered CAD modelling, and assisting in the manufacture of components and tool inserts.

Before establishing Abhishek Tools, his industrial and entrepreneurial experience included working with JSW Steel Works in mechanical maintenance, where he was involved in maintenance planning, preventive and corrective maintenance, and plant engineering activities.

He also worked as an Entrepreneur & Partner at Pinrap Packaging, where his responsibilities covered factory setup, plant commissioning, machinery selection, project planning, production management and plant operations, giving him practical experience in taking a manufacturing facility from planning through production.

Today, this combination of 15+ years of practical manufacturing experience, technical engineering knowledge, tooling expertise and entrepreneurial experience forms the technical foundation behind Abhishek Tools.
